Welcome to Malin Genie — the most comprehensive resource for the TRKI-4 you will find on the web.
How it started
It took me roughly 2 years to get from a B2 to a C2 level in Russian, during which time I also continued to further my education and gain new qualifications in teaching and translation. So apart from studying verbal nuances of the language to the TRKI-4 level, I’ve also completed several intensive courses in designing e-learning courses and integrating creative arts in education. Little did I know the skills I learned during that time would soon come to nicely dovetail with one another.
Having successfully passed the ТРКИ-4 in July of 2016 at СПБГУ (at ~82%), I decided to digitize my resources and share my knowledge with other potential candidates. Between the TRKI-4 teacher’s manual, the one and only sample test, and my own experience as a teacher and learner of languages, I was able to pin down the range of advanced vocabulary and grammar necessary to pass the test, as well as verbal and interpretative skills necessary to solve the most complicated tasks. The long and gruelling process paid off in July of 2016 when I passed the exam without much difficulty. I sincerely hope the contents of this site will help you do the same.

Welcome to the site, Sevinj, it’s great to have you here. I do tutor over Skype, when you’re ready you can drop me a line over the contact form so we can work something out. For other questions you can use this form also.
How well, or if at all, prepared you are for the TRKI is a always a tough question. In the near future I am going to include a TRKI preparation level test on the site, so anyone can take it and see just what level of TRKI they’re at (not to be confused with general level of fluency in the language). You might find that interesting.
